Keep my hair blonde or go back to black?
Bought new copies of “Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows” and “Blonde”
Those are my favorite bopic’s. They are so captivating and show the raw side of celebrity. It shows two actresses I have learned to love in life in a light that is not so bright.
One thing that bugs me, other than Karen being Marilyn, is the wigs they use for whoever the main Marilyn. They never change. Ivy’s wig is different from Karen’s which is different from Rebecca.
Ok, that is them. Rebecca, then Karen, then Ivy. The only reason the wigs bug me is that in the finale episode and the finale of “Bombshell”, all of Marilyn’s shadows-selves appear in the glimpses of the background in iconic Marilyn scene. Bus Stop, Seven Year Itch, etc. When they are shown, they have the right hairstyle Marilyn had at that point in time when she in the particular scenes.
Yes, these are the things I sometimes think about and that bug me. Also, Ivy is my favorite…but they needed to do more makeup work on her to really capture Marilyn.
