And “Oz the Great and Powerful 2” or a movie adaptation of “Wicked”?

Some pictures from behind the scene of “Disney’s The Little Mermaid”

The Little Mermaid trailer for the LSYT production this coming weekend. This give a good taste at the look of the show, and shows off the voice talents of our lovely Ariel, singing a snipet of “Part of Your World”. Also, the movement of Ursula is beautiful. haha

The Little Mermaid

I really hope people can come and see the show this weekend. It is seriously the biggest and the best show I have ever been a part of. Designing the makeup and working with the actors has been great. Ursula….just yes.

The girl playing Ariel is spot on. She has the look, and boy does she ever have the voice. I was a little iffy of her in the beginning, but damn…she is Ariel.

Now, I have a crush on Prince Eric. Not going to lie. When he sings “Her Voice” (one of the added songs for the stage), my heart melts. His voice matches he presence and he has such a charming look to him. Again, crush. haha.

Ursula is amazing. Just, wicked. Her makeup, the costume, and fuck can the girl belt out “Poor Unfortunate Souls” without effort. She blew me away during her callback, and has grown even more into the role since. So proud of her.

You guys, if you are in the area, need to try and come see this show. I hate to say it, but I think it passes Beauty and the Beast. It is hard to compare them, because they are so different, but it is true.

I will post some pictures of my makeup designs either later tonight or tomorrow after opening. <3

Me: My breasts hurt like hell. I didn't wear a bra today.
My friend: Defying gravity is not for everyone.

Les Miserables

Ok, I was blown completely away. I went in there so very hesitant and scared of some of the choices, but damn…those got shot to hell.

Favorite moments:

  • Anne Hathaway; all of it. I was so damned scared for “I Dreamed a Dream”, but hell. She sold it for me. I cried.
  • Hugh Jackman; Although he didn’t get all the way up there, I felt the key and direction he took most of his songs played a lot more real.
  • Russel Crowe; I was so beyond fucking surprised by this bitch. My only true critique about him was that I wish he would have had the same amount of power in his voice in “Stars” that he had in his suicide (oops, spolier. If you didn’t know this happened, the fucks are not given).
  • Eddie Redmayne; His lips. His jaw movement. I was worried about him being Marius, but he did it for me. His “Empty Chair at Empty Tables” was my favorite rendition of the song I have ever heard. And, again…they are singing live…so…fuck me sideways with his voice.
  • Amanda Seyfried; She had a ton of vibrato, which wasn’t bad….but when she hit her highest notes…I died. It was perfect. She did well, and I hope this movie makes people forget Mamma Mia. Even though she was the best in that movie, it should be forgotten.
  • Samantha Barks….why are you perfect and may I have your waist? I wasn’t worried about her, and near pissed myself when she got the role. Your move, Taylor Swift. haha. Good luck with that one. Anyway, I cried during “On My Own” and “A Little Fall of Rain”. I usually do, but this was more extreme and she needs to sing me everything with a beautiful duet with Anne Hathaway.
  • Helena and Sacha; First off, Sacha is my celebrity crush. He is tall, beautiful, and can act. Helena is my exception. She is like a little doll. In this movie, they are so delightful and perfect for each other. Their banter and chemistry was charming and they are so fucking wicked. Brava.
  • The men; I would have relations with every guy at the Barricade. I am pretty sure their voices and harmonies got me pregnant.

Overall, I loved it. Just…I am still in awe of it, and I am going to buy the album tomorrow. I need it in my life. It will not be the first time I see it in the cinema, either. Just….my emotions are dead.

Legally Blonde

My director pretty much wants me to look like Anderson Cooper by April.

Me Gusta

HELP!

Should I take Gay and Lesbian History…or Dance for the theatre, next semester?

Glinda: Let's each tell each other something we've never told anyone! I'll go first: Fiyero and I are going to be married.
Elphaba: He's asked you already?
Glinda: Oh, he doesn't know yet.

Does anyone have the “End of the Rainbow” album?

If so, could you send me the song files?

Or know where I could download it?
